NOC Engineer is the person who has ample experience in monitoring different systems, documenting issues, troubleshoot, track and report incidents and outages. He/she is the person who can organize and communicate different Engineers to properly hand over the ownership of a issue or outage. He/she should be able to open and understand different interfaces or monitoring systems and be able interpret the issue and channel to the proper teams such as Network Team, Server/Messaging Team etc. for a resolution. They should be able to properly escalate and document/Track Network/systems issues until it is fully resolved. The person should have ample experience in SolarWinds, and preferred small hands on troubleshooting on Cisco network devices who can use some troubleshooting techniques such as ping, traceroute etc. She/he should be able to open and track Ticketing systems and be able to document the resolution and close Tickets when the issue is resolved. Role Description:  -

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a NOC or supporting robust switching and data networks
  • Experience managing, supporting and deploying network infrastructures
  • Strong ability to diagnose server or network alerts, events or issues
  • Understanding of common information architecture frameworks
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery plans and related technologies
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
