PBM/POS RFP Development Specialist

The PBM/POS RFP Development Specialist will be the team lead for state subject matter experts representing pharmacy program for the following RFP development, procurement, and implementation activities:

  • Requirements gathering and validation
  • Design Review
  • Solution Mapping and Configuration
  • Leads business area requirement development of design, development, and implementation (DDI) vendor deliverables
  • Leads the state User Acceptance requirements.
  • Identifies potential project risks and issues related to the Pharmacy program/PBM and POS and works to avoid the risks and mitigate issues

Employee is expected to undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmacy program/PBM or POS business area
  • Worked on at least pharmacy system replacement project
  • Expert knowledge of Health care or Medicaid pharmacy policies claims and edits
  • Minimum 3 years of Pharmacy claims system functionality testing experience
  • Minimum 3 years business analysis skills and experience

Additional Qualifications

  • Medicaid Pharmacy system/MMIS experience preferred
  • Experience managing teams of part-time participants to meet project objectives
  • Must be able to travel to client site in Baltimore, MD
